Welcome to the website which hosts the Digital Map of the cultural treasures of the Church of Greece.

The Greek Orthodox Ecclesiastical Cultural Heritage, is an inexhaustible source of cultural assets, as it has always excited and still excites the international public. For various reasons, this heritage was not available through digital means and communication, until today.

The modern era of great speed and radical changes demands that we all defend our principles and values, while giving them a modern character and perspective.

“Solidarity” in the framework of renewing its internet presence, has created this portal in order to promote the cultural heritage of our Church.

Through the use of the Interactive Cultural Map of the Church of Greece, the visitor can take a close look in ecclesiastic architectural monuments, museums, ecclesiastic heirlooms and any cultural asset connected with ecclesiastic structures and organizations. The Digital Map is showing an image of Greece, divided in districts, therefore providing the user with the ability to select a particular geographical district and be informed about the ecclesiastical cultural data of that area, in both photography and/or audio material.
